FROM 11/A ALİM BİCAN ÇOBAN'S ICP WRITING ASSIGNMENT ABOUT THE BOOK HE READ

Old Henchard vs New Henchard
What did the years do to our main character, Henchard? Lets take a look at it. He has grown into an adult and grew a beard, like real men. He also doesn’t drink strong drinks anymore(that’s just for now though). Now he is a businessman and mayor of the town, he used to be a simple farm worker.

Now you might thing that he has actually changed but those changes are on his appearance and social status. He is still the same man. Still tha same act-before-you-think guy. He gets angry easily and acts upon his revenge plans but falls down into the hole he dug. And lastly we see that he still  thinks that “a man shall take care of and feed his wife and children. We see that in how he immediately attempted to mary Susan. He feels responsible for his mistakes but doesn’t take actions to prevent those mistakes.
